North Korea's suicide bomber corps with nuclear backpacks show up in the armistice anniversary parade.
Another propaganda stunt by the Dear Leader
South Koreas Defense Ministry is skeptical about North Koreas ability to produce small-size nuclear bombs.
Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok said in a regular briefing Monday that highly sophisticated technology is needed to produce the so-called nuclear backpack bomb. He explained experts dont think North Koreas military technology has reached a high-enough level.
On Saturday, North Korea showed off a group of soldiers wearing backpacks with the radioactivity sign on them during a military parade in Pyongyang. The event was held to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice.
Developed during the Cold War era, nuclear backpacks are small enough for soldiers to carry and plant themselves. They are detonated by remote control.
