FEATURED

Brings improvements over the Nokia 6 from 2017.

  • Nokia 6.1 (2018) Camera Samples!

    Battery
The battery on the Nokia 6.1 is 3,000mAh cell which is barely enough to keep the phone powered throughout the day.

I still managed to have around 20% of battery left at the end of the day and my usage mainly consisted of gaming, checking social media, taking photos, 4G was on almost all of the time. With such a heavy usage, having a 20% at the end of the day is still pretty good and a light user might be able to get better battery timing.

    Verdict
Overall, the Nokia 6.1 is still an impressive phone for its price and provides good value for money but only if you go with the 3GB/32GB variant as it’s priced a bit on the lower side.

The 4GB/64GB variant, on the other hand, has everything you need from a mid-range smartphone such as a great display, great performance, good cameras, an all-day battery life and best of all, stock Android but at that price point, you can get a better chipset with the new Nokia 6.1 Plus.

Nokia 2 got 4100 mAh, don't know why they put a weaker one in a higher model.

its not only the battery that gets you going but other factors like chipset and processor which plays an equally important part in improving battery performance. Usually lower end phones dont have high quality chipset, hence a larger battery to offset that. high end phones usually have the best hardware and so does not need a beefy battery which would only add more weight.

lol you are taking me as some guy who has seen the city lights for the first time.
Of course, it's not only the battery. I also know a little bit about hard and software. Nokia's hardware is all documented, unlike Chinese brands. Who just mention so and so much GHz processor, so much Ram etc.

You should have not made the above comment than about nokia 2 having a bigger battery than Nokia 6.1. Shouldnt it be obvious for a guy who has seen city lights many time?

Okay I may be paindu but check for battery timings for Nokia 2 and 6
I don't know about 6.1, coz I have 2 and 6
Nokia H/W purchase is pretty standard and from the same companies. MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 would not use less battery than MSM8909v2 Snapdragon 212, your logic doesn't apply here.
