ISLAMABAD - Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naek on Tuesday said that Swiss authorities have declined to reopen cases against President Asif Ali Zardari in money laundering cases.
In an interview with a private TV channel he said the Swiss Attorney General informed that the cases against President have been dropped and it cannot be reopened for any kind of proceeding. To a question, however, he said that the government of Pakistan has not received letter officially from Swiss authorities yet.
To another question, the minister said that the article 248 has been discussed in the reply of Swiss authorities.
