NLC wooed into paying for locomotive repair, as railways offers discount on freight – The Express Tribune

According to recent news , NLC has offered Pakistan Railways to fix 30 Engines at their expense
the catch

"THEY WILL MOVE UNDISCLOSED FREIGHT using 15 of the engines at discount rates"

So how much are they investing ... Whopping ... $ 5 million dollars

Yes folks this is the :yahoo: truth that our government cannot finance $5 million dollars to repair the engines ...

NLC will likely "MOVE NATO's illegal weapons to Afghanistan and other regions" for which they will charge millions and million imagine ... if the train cost is few rupees .... what a great deal :hitwall:

Here is the catch ... the culprits will then ... expect to get the 5 million dollars back from Railways in FULL !!! So this is kinda like a Loan .... :cheesy:

5,000,000 = five million ....

Pakistan National Reserves

20,000,000,000 = twenty Billion dollars ... sitting in bank

So our Government cannot pay 100-200 Million to Pakistan Railways ... to get 400 engines or have transfer of technology for making an engine from 60's even ....

The story of PLC is quite shameful it smells of Rotten fish

They certainly have funds to buy things from India ... or USA new engines .. why because someone gets a cut but for repairs to engines they have excuses that this can't be done or we do not have any funding ...

Why can't Pakistan build 1 Locomotive Engine?

Yeah! I have also heard that there are veryy advance lethal wepaons that they want to take to Afghanistan and then they will going to use it against Pakistan as well. Although the carrier is there but there are more surprises too. Wait and see whats giong to happen next as US might be planning to open a permanent bases in Pakistan.???
