its wise for both countries to keep their cool. if somehow things escalate from this point then their will be no turning back. its just few border skirmishes, it would turn into full fledge war if things get escalated. Both are just checking each other resolve and preparedness. keep it that way. The world does not want any other bloody war. its not just 2 countries its almost 3 billion people we are talking about.
TBH i think if things went on like this then someone is gonna make a stupid mistake and take entire region in the state of war.
