Night Optics formerly announced its latest product: a night vision monocular that is called the Sentry 14 1x 4G.
The non-magnifying monocular can be used hand held or while mounted to a helmet. Additionally, a quick release weapon mount is available for the Sentry 14 1x 4G. The unit uses a 4G autogated Photonis tube and has manual gain control. It claims a “class-leading detection, recognition and identification range” as well as being “100 percent Mil-Spec.”
iPhone adaptor. With the illuminator, the company claims the target identification range of the unit is up to 600 yards.
Night Optics is part of the Vista Outdoor group of companies that includes other industry stalwarts like Federal, Speer, Bushnell and Savage Arms. The monocular comes with a two year warranty and a suggested retail price of $4,549.
