The Obama Administration is deliberately misleading Americans about the drone war it is waging in Pakistan.

Can anyone read the McClatchy Newspapers summary of top-secret intelligence reports and continue to deny it? Set aside the morality and effectiveness of the CIA's targeted-killing program. Isn't it important for Congress and the people to know the truth about the War on Terrorism? Many Americans remain furious that the Bush Administration gave Iraq War speeches that elided inconvenient truths and implied facts that turned out to be fictions. Is the objection merely that the Iraq War turned out badly? Or is misleading Congress and the public itself problematic, especially when the subject is as serious as killing people in foreign countries? ............. They misled us on a lot of things. The issue here is more than just they misled us. We can't pile the blame onto them. We have to take responsibility. We Pakistanis, our officials, our institutions frame innocent civilians on false charges of terrorism, our institutions are eager to be used by the US, our institutions believe the words of a foreigner more than those of a local Pakistani. We got into this mess and we are responsible. No one else. America will do whatever it wants because it has the iron fist of military steel to do it. We do not have the willpower to be strong, independent and assertive.

Hell, we are even failing badly in dealing with terrorists. The terrorist who attacked Malala is still free, the commander who is Fazlullah is sitting in Afghanistan launching regular cross border raids. We Pakistanis failed to deal with them, our institutions failed to deal with them but then when it comes to grabbing innocents from their houses we do it very easily.

all the evidence is gathering up.....drone attacks are already documented.....sooner or later mr bama will end up facing war crimes.

what are you smoking?.....you start by saying that they misled us on lots of things....then you say we cant blame them....

Probably not. What McClatchy discovered in the Top Secret stuff they read was that over 40% of the drones were hitting non-Al-Qaeda militants like the Haqqanis: link Seems there's difficulties telling one terrorist from another.

Can someone tell me why it doesn't bother the Pakistani government when they know US is droning the innocents?

Not possible, everyone accused George Bush for war crimes but nothing happened. America is not signed with the International Criminal Court so they won't.

Part of evaluating information is examining source material to see if it can back up what you want to claim. In this case it does not.

I doubt Americans really care. They are hypocritical when it comes to morality.

As for those americans who "sympathize" with those , who Americans kill, they might also be the same people who sympathize with homosexuals and advocate same sex marriages.

Appealing to American public sence of morality to have mercy on you...is probably not gonna work.

Because if we do it ourself, the army will lose rep. This way US gets the blame. We arent as desensitized as americans, collateral damage doesnt mean anything to us every life is important so might as well let americans do the dirty work
*just a theory*

A homosexual with humanity is better than a heterosexual who thinks only american lives matter. It's the liberals because the few muslims in US are safe, so why hating on them?

Same people who advocate men should marry men, are the people who advocate for having some "sympathy" for Muslims?

These same Americans say give rights to gays and Muslims?

Well the alternative would have you shot/nuked

So you are saying the state of Muslims is so pathetic that they beg homosexuals to have mercy on them?
