Hi,

My cat (Champa), is 8 months old, and is an outdoor cat. She delivered 3 kittens (1M 2F - 15 minute interval each) in the morning with no problems, though I was expecting many more because of the way her belly had swelled.

All the kittens are fine and weaning now (had to rub and swing the last one who seemed to have inhaled some liquid initially but is fine now).

Well, here's the problem - When I rub the belly of the Queen to comfort her (she does appear very comforted, purrs, and lays her head down to doze a little when I do that), I can very confidently feel a slight movement of another kitten inside her belly! And it has been over 14 hours since she delivered the last.

I looked all over the web, and everywhere they say it is a big problem if she takes more than 4-6 hours between delivery. But the thing is, she appears very fine and healthy, and is eating (she prefers only dahi and dog food) and drinking (water) very regularly and has been weaning the kittens continuously for the past 14 hours.

I have decided against consulting the vet, because when I asked him to spay her, that joker told me there's no way she can be pregnant before she turns 1 (human years).

I am growing more and more anxious as time passes by while I can still feel a kitten inside her swollen belly. :undecided:

I didn't know whom else to ask after checking numerous sites online, so I thought may be someone here with an experience with cats could help quell my doubts.

I will be grateful to you for your inputs.

Thanks in advance. :)

P.S. If this thread appears a little too useless for the site, I won't mind it getting deleted, though a bit of help is always appreciated.
