This video is from the Turkish tv series "Payitaht Abdülhamid" and also known as "The Last Emperor"
The Hejaz Railway was built on the order of Ottoman ruler and the Khalifah of Islam; Sultan Abdul Hamid Khan (Jannat Mekan) on September 1st 1909 CE. The main objective of its construction was to serve the two Holy Mosques and provide a modern means to transport Pilgrims who came from Asia, Europe and the Levant to the Holy shrines in Makkah and Madinah, in addition to strengthen ties between the fragmented Muslim World. Policy during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid Khan was focused on Islamic unity, and grouping all diverse ethnic minorities in the Ottoman Empire under a single state.

That means muslims of sub-continent supported the caliphate even before the Khilafat movement.
Pretty much sums up why the bond between Turkey and Pakistan is un-breakable.
