ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Thursday reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs27 per kilogramme, Geo News reported.



According to a notification issued by Ogra here, the price of local/imported LPG has now come down to Rs86.40 per kilogramme.



The marketing companies have also been notified to retail the liquid gas at the new price.

LPG is 63p per KG in UK...Or 92 PKR...
the current price in Pakistan being 82 Rs isnt much less than UK...
IMF is giving unrealistic prices to be enforced in Pakistan...

bachy how many times i told you its world market prices going down and public know it . still what we got is less public needs more low prices . there is height of inflation but they can't keep it always damn . its nothing new or wrong our gov buy it from world market so they have to sell us same .:D

ISLAMABAD: The prices of 31 commodities increased in June this year while that of 12 went down and eight remained unchanged as compared to the preceding month, says a Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) report on Wednesday.

The report said commodities including fruit, wheat, some pulses, and cooking oil, etc registered an average price hike of 3.0 percent. However, there was a 3.0 percent decrease in prices of eggs, kerosene oil, some vegetables and cooked items.

FAFEN retail price monitors collected prices of 52 commodities and services from 191 retail outlets in 103 districts across Pakistan. During the monitored month, the prices of all fruits went up with bananas registering the highest increase of 20 percent, followed by dark red apples (6.0 percent) and golden apples (3.0 percent). Of the rice varieties, the price of basmati-386 shot up 5.0 percent, irri-6 (3.0 percent) and basmati broken (2.0 percent).

Among poultry products, broiler chicken live registered a 4.0 percent increase in price while chicken meat went up by 3.0 percent. However, there was a 7.0 percent decline in prices of eggs. Also going down were the prices of vegetables including onions and tomatoes by 9.0 percent and 2.0 percent but potatoes were up 1.0 percent. The price of gram pulse rose by 3.0 percent, followed by washed masoor (2.0 percent), red beans (2.0 percent) and black gram (1.0 percent). There was however, a drop in prices of mash pulse (2.0 percent) and chickpeas and white beans (1.0 percent each). The prices of almost all the observed spices and condiments increased with ginger up by 5.0 percent, garlic (4.0 percent), salt powder (4.0 percent) and red chilli powder (1.0 percent). Wheat grain and wheat flour also registered a 1.0 percent increase in their respective prices.

Similarly, the prices of sugar and jaggery each saw a 1.0 percent increase but there was no change in the price of desi shaker. Mustard oil, branded cooking oil and vegetable ghee each registered a 1.0 percent increase in prices. Moreover those of cooked items also went up - a plate of cooked beef increasing by 2.0 percent and a cup of tea by 1.0 percent. staff report

it seems election bht ziada qareeb aa gaye hain:D & ths idiots in govt are just using our tax payers money for ths subsidies & than will take vote while syaing ke hum ne qeemat kam ki.....

I say why the prices of food items are not going down? u know reason cz Pakistan is self sufficient in food & if they lower food prices it will not effect tax payers but it will only effect the zamindars (landlords)
