Lahore High Court act on Nawaz ECL issue : Food for thought

Lahore high court panel requested Shahbaz Shariff to submit undertaking for the return of Nawaz Shariff. Where both Nawaz and Shahbaz families absconder and Shahbaz himself facing multiple cases of corruption and he failed to answer any question to NAB or other interrogating agencies.
What standards are set by LHC to deal with such a case where Shahbaz Shariff who himself facing multiple corruption charges can submit undertaking for his convicted brother.
Lots of negative aspect can be written in this ECL case, but people are happy that Imran Khan walk out clean and its Lahore High Court which give Nawaz NRO. Not the PTI govt.
And yes, it is very good news for Zardari , because he is very sick too. Now he can appeal his foreign trip to Lahore High Court.

But, Yes, this case has set very bad precedence for future case references. Where it give huge leverage to cases against rich and powerful.

Haider, Brother you are assuming as if a functional system exist in Pakitan which was working and you are trying to find a rationale behind this unexplainable anomaly. No no, the system of this country is hodgepodge which is being dragged forward by the establishment of Pakitan. They are patriotic but they do mess-up at times and make unpopular and some times stupid decisions. In this incident, they are not realising how much trust is lost from the judicial system for letting a proven guilty family escape their legal punishment. As we stand, there is zero legal justification why Nawaz and his daughter are allowed to leave. The establishment is not revealing the secret deal they had with the family and on the front, already sucking judiciary is taking the hit.

Don't blame judiciary first, they have corrupt and incompetent politicised minds - but hold the collar of the establishment of Pakistan who is running this "judicial mujhra". As a Pakistani I am deeply disappointed with the bad play establishment has put forth.

Decision to let a High Profile criminal has darken Pakistan's future which was changing for better after criminals were being sentenced to Prison

"A Rich criminal can , rape a country build empire overseas live a lavish life and when he is caught he is released after few months to live a relaxed life overseas"

a) Private Pakistani TV channel continues to refer to convict as a " Mian Sahib" a cute nickname as if the guy was innocent

b) No one raises a question, we have 10,000 hospitals in Pakistan, so why is a criminal allowed to leave

c) Since when do Criminals get state-based support for going to Prime Hospitals?

d) Lahore High Court , judges need their Villa and perks and expect Criminals to also get same treatment

e) How many years this guy falsely paid taxes , how much money he moved out of Pakistan without paying taxes ?


A criminal should never be called, Mian Sahib or Bare Sahib , or Babu


Pakistan should open eyes and realize today we are behind Africa in term of cleanliness and we are falling behind Techology sector due to lack of computers in schools , and our Judicial system is broken

Pakistani courts have been compromised

We have very trivial issue which everyone avoid to discuss. Punjab dominance on system. Which give fuel to fire to Sindhi or Baluchi nationalism. When Nawaz drag his case to its local court and same mantra is singing by PPP in Zardari case. Why his case move from Sindh to Punjab. Even we know Sindh courts are totally compromised.
Pakistan needs urgent judicial reform where SC need to have more powers and revisit 18th amendment.
