The Korean Air Force's Black Eagles aerobatic team has won another top air show award in the U.K. although it was their first time in an international flying extravaganza.

The Black Eagles won the King Hussein Memorial Sword and the As the Crow Flies Trophy at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire last Saturday and Sunday.

Earlier, the team was awarded the Boeing Trophy for best display at the Waddington International Air Show.

The King Hussein Memorial Sword, the top award at the RIAT, is presented for the best overall flying display in memory of the late King Hussein of Jordan, the patron of the RIAT. The As the Crow Flies Trophy, voted for by the Friends of the Royal International Air Tattoo, is presented by 1,397 supporters of the RIAT for the best aerial demonstration.

The RIAT organized by the British royal household is an international air show attended by about 200,000 visitors from some 20 countries every year. Forty aerobatic teams and 112 aircraft from 11 countries participated in this year's show.

The Black Eagles will take part in the Farnborough International Air Show until Sunday before returning home on July 17.
