Yes, I am aware. There is deep cracks in the Iranian state and a power struggle behind the scenes. I think it was hardliners in IRGC who are involved in this. Zarif on the other hand is from the other spectrum.

These Iranians are doing a pretty good job in isolating themselves. Pakistan was always either neutral or pro Iran. With looming invasion , they should be trying to get Pakistan on its side but no.

Animal Farm? Yes, I am aware of that. I had a long discussion with a Iranian who just came back from Tehran to see his elderly parents. He painted a picture of corruption, greed, runaway inflation and poverty like you would never associate with a petro-state. Now things are about to get worse. Maybe having smelled this is the reason why Yanks are tightening the nuts.

I am wondering we are not in war from last 3 years. Otherwise we participated in Battle of Mogadishu 1993, then long decade war in afganistan, then Kargil war, then we remained front line state on war against terrorism after 2001 till today .
