K2 and Everest border with China

How the border sharing on top of the K2 and Everest mountains were decided with China? Anyone knows? Interesting......have look at the pics below.....

Google earth misaligns on their end many times. You can find many instances where the road map (highways etc) are not lined up with the actual earth view when you switch between the two in many countries.

The exact border will be running right through the exact peak. That is how its done, then countries have to interpret if that changes as the physical geography itself changes over many years (a problem with rivers especially).
