Joint Investigation Team to Probe ISAF Attack on Pakistani checkpot.

After repeated demands by the Pakistan to setup a joint investigation team to fix the responsibility of cross border attacks by the ISAF which killed Pakistani troops and destroyed the security check post which was established to stop Afghan Talibans from crossing into Pakistan.

Joint Investigation team of Pakistan and International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) has started the investigation into the ISAF attack on Pakistani check Post in Angoor Adda in South Waziristan Agency.

Four Pakistani troops were killed and many other suffered injuries in an attack on the post by the ISAF and Afghan National Army.

ISAF and Afghan National Army fired over 65 mortar shells at the Pakistani security check post which resulted in the destruction the important check post which was essential in stopping the cross border attacks by Afghan Taliban.

If the responsibility for this fixed on "enemies of Afghanistan" or Talib, what will Pakistan's response be?? Such joint teams are exactly how Pakistan ends up getting the short end of the stick - why? Because it makes clear that Pakistan are not in a position to defend themselves and worse still, that they do not have the will to defend or protect themselves and that these levies and soldiers posted on the border are sacrificial in nature.

The hell you say? Listen up, if Pakistan were persuaded that the borders of the state are to be protected against any or all who seek to disrespect them, then of course, the Pakistani state would have directed that where ever fire emanates from, where ever across the border, there are incursions (raids), be destroyed - this would send a clear message to whomever that to fire on Pakistanis or their border is to be guaranteed much death and destruction -- instead, the ISAF types will say things about how brave the Pakistani levies and soldiers were/are and that such things should not happen and that Pakistan needs to do more to ensure that safe havens are denied to the Talib --- Don't think so?? bet you a dime that's exactly what'll end up happening.
