Israel quickly issued a thinly veiled warning that it would bomb the Russian S-300s if they were deployed in Syria as such a move would bring the advanced guided missiles within range of civilian and military planes in Israeli air space.
Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said Israel is prepared to strike Russian arms’ shipments to the Assad regime.
The AP reported:

Israel’s defence chief said Tuesday a Russian plan to supply sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles to Syria was a “threat” and signalled that Israel is prepared to use force to stop the delivery.

The warning by Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon ratcheted up tensions with Moscow over the planned sale of S-300 air-defence missiles to Syria. Earlier in the day, a top Russian official said his government remained committed to the deal.

Israel has been lobbying Moscow to halt the sale, fearing the missiles would upset the balance of power in the region and could slip into the hands of hostile groups, including the Lebanese militia Hezbollah, a close ally of the Syrian regime.

This is what i admire about Israel , they have the balls to do it :)

I totally support them regardless of my affections for Russia :P

Any country has the right to defend itself. What did the same back in 2009/2010 with the Iranian proxy in Yemen :coffee:

Personally I doubt that Israel will hit the shipment any time soon. I believe that if Israel's intention is to strike sparingly a small number of times the best solution for us would be to work around it.
I am sure that NATO got to study the system, and considering the drills Israel has with Greece I wouldn't be shocked if we got some data on it from either or both sources. I would be surprised if we couldn't work around it for few surprise hits.
Alternatively hit the shipments as soon as they leave Syrian soil and enter Lebanon.

Should the Russian/Syrians fire into Israeli airspace I am pretty sure it would be destroyed. into Lebanese? I am not sure.

That's my estimation, but who knows really?

this is crazy Israel will not do that
and the people who will operated S300 will be the Russian most of them
