IT'S NEVER TOO LATE. Finally the supreme court of Pakistan acknowledges on March 17th, 2014 that State of Pakistan has failed in its responsibility to provide security to its citizens. When the entire Pakistan was burning, 50,000 civilians innocently were killed in cinemas, markets, processions, mosques, imambargha's, schools and bus stands, The Supreme Court of Pakistan was a silent spectator. When 20,000 security personals lost their lives chasing terrorists of TTP and subsidiaries… The Supreme Court of Pakistan was mute.

How come the change of heart? Simple, last decade of Pakistan terrorism history shows everyone targeted EXCEPT Pakistani judiciary. Islamabad court siege exhibited power of these terrorist groups first hand, using hand grenades, suicide bombers and latest weaponry, killing a judge and many lawyer in broad day light in F8 court in capital Islamabad. Sure enough; it was an eye opener for the judiciary. The first of its kind court siege "forced" a Suo Moto action to investigate the incident, by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Since February 9th, 2014, a fake name of "Ahrah ul Hind" has been adopted by Lal Mosque Brigade to cover its tracks. In last one month, the group has claimed responsibility of Islamabad court siege, suicide attack in Peshawar and Quetta Pakistan within last 6 weeks.

How ironic that many of the facts the honorable court admitted Monday during a court hearing of F8 court siege are exactly the same which I have been claiming in my blogs since January 2014. Here is what the CJ of the Supreme Court of Pakistan said which is reported in the media.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani has remarked that attack on the F8 courts is "manifestation of state failure". “It is not known if the outfit which has accepted responsibility for the attack is really an outfit or otherwise. May be it is a fake name,” the CJP said.

"Protecting the life is the responsibility of the government and a right of every citizen. The situation is worst. How long the government will keep on watching the show. People’s lives have become insecure. The family members of every one who leaves his home for job wait for his safe return anxiously,” the CJP said."

“Enough is enough. Such matters should come to an end now. Societies don’t stay alive without justice.”

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked, “The outfit which has attacked knows it well that no action will be taken by the government even if the latter comes to know about it. Now the government will have to do a lot. The matters cannot be left this way. It will be better that the government should bring those responsible for these incidents to justice. Peace will remain elusive in society unless indiscriminate action is taken against the culprits.”

What was well known to many of us is now authenticated by the Supreme Court of Pakistan that the states security apparatus has failed to provide security to its citizen, no one is apprehended and the terrorist know that no action will be taken by the government.

In my opinion, The Supreme Court of Pakistan is equally responsible for the failure of State security apparatus. The Supreme Court of Pakistan must first examine its own records to see how many terrorist have been convicted or hung for the horrifying crimes of innocently killing 50,000 civilians and 20,000 security personals in last 10 years. NONE, ZIP OR NIL is the answer.

It was the job of the CJ to reform the judicial system, once reinstated in 2008, so a free and fair judicial system is provided to people of Pakistan. With politicize corrupt police, no witness protection plan and no security for judges allowed the terrorist to be set free because of "lack of evidence". Remember in last 6 years, while the Supreme Court of Pakistan was playing politics with elected governments, military brass and worrying about Musharraf.... terrorist were going free and court failed to acknowledge the issue.

It will be a fair judgment to say, governments and court's negligence to terrorism issue over years has caused the State of Pakistan to fail in its responsibilities to provide security to average citizens of Pakistan. What needs to be seen is the capture, conviction and punishment of lal masjid brigade a/k/a Ahrar ul Hind by the government and the Judiciary of Pakistan.

If you read , it states that the Government is not the only responsible party in the failure of Security apparatus in Pakistan but Judiciary is equally responsible for not convicting a single terrorist in last 10 years so it has to share the responsibility. Judiciary is crying foul after they have been terrorized but ignored the pain of the public for years. Sorry I can't make it more simple.
