ISI not stroking insurgency in Afghanistan, Afghan President told
Islamabad : The top leadership of Pakistan including military and political high ups on Thursday have totally rejected the allegations levelled by Afghan President Hamid Karzai concerning ISIs involvement in Afghanistan and supporting extremists.
Reliable Sources informed Online that President Karzai and his associates during meetings and dialogues with top military and political leadership of Pakistan alleged that ISI is supporting extremist Taliban in Afghanistan and creating rift in smooth political process along with talks with peaceful Taliban, hence Afghan government is in sheer quandary.
Afghanistan was also highly critical of Pakistans ISI alleged involvement in the conflict in Afghanistan.
Reacting to such allegations, the military and political leadership of Pakistan made it clear on Afghan President and his delegation that if you have any evidence then they must provide it to us.
When his attention was drawn to a statement of Afghan National Security Advisor who accused Pakistan of stroking insurgency in Afghanistan, President Karzai in his stance only said that both Pakistan and Afghanistan are suffering at the hands of terrorists.
He said that both countries are suffering from common cause and that is terrorism thus sacrifices in this regard cannot be overlooked.
Sources further added that Karzai and his National Security Advisor failed to proof the allegations right against Pakistan agencies while on the other hand, Pakistan has presented clear-cut evidences to Afghan President on Afghan Taliban working in Pakistan.
They further said that presence of Brahamdagh Bugti and his involvement in Anti-Pakistan activity was a source of concern as it is quite disturbing and deteriorating the situation in Balochistan while sitting in Afghanistan besides through Indian Consulate, meddling is continuing in Tribal Areas of Pakistan and Balochistan.
Afghan Government must take serious notice of it and initiate an action against such activities tooth and nail, Sources added.
