Is national defence a paid job that you do because you get paid, like plumbing and welding, or is it a sacred duty of every sensekeeping citizen?

Another vexing question: Does patriotism begin in you when you wear a uniform and end when you take it off? Do you not have patriotism in you unless you first wear that stitched suite?

Every citizen of the country has an honourable job in national defense, and patriotism does not reside within uniforms. Who doesn't understand this simple sentence? Let me tell you who: there are some people here in PDF who call themselves soldiers but act like masters of the citizens of Pakistan. Their verbal arrogance and daring admission of crimes speak volumes about how low they think of the laws of the state, its people, and the systems of this Nation.

And here is the ask: who teaches patriotism to soldiers inside defence institutions? Why is the book of patriotism only kept inside military schools and military barracks? Why not share it with the rest of the country so they too may get a taste of love for their motherland?

Dear Soldiers, You are loved like any other Pakistani, and you are respected for the noble duty you perform every day—but know that this noble duty is also offered by every citizen of Pakistan every day—for free. We do not hate you for the job you do. Please do not hate Pakistanis for the job you have.

But if you have complaints, please voice them. Pakistan is listening.

Having a feeling is not enough. One should be prepared to die. One has to demostrate it by going to the battle field to become a soldier.

Some people are only capable of complaining and doing jalsas. The end up as PTI supporters.

It’s both a sacred duty and paid job. It’s a sacred duty for every citizen and for a soldier it’s both because a soldier spends all their time defending Pakistan so they must be paid as compensation so they can raise their families and survive.
