Addressing a group of officials engaged in the nuclear industry on the anniversary of National Nuclear Technology, Ahmadinejad said the Iranian peopl's resistance to pressures is much more valuable than their access to nulcear technology.
By resisting the enemies' pressures, the Iranian nation are in fact safeguarding their dignity, said the president, adding that enemies should not think that by assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists they can bloc Iran's technological and scientific progress.
He said progress in the field of peaceful nuclear technology would expedite progress in other domains.
President Ahmadinejad went on to say that progress in the peaceful nuclear technology would result in progress in other industries.
He added, 'Nuclear industry is like a locomotive which can propel other industries forward. It's like space industry which uplift tens of its subsidiary industries and that's the clear path we should take.'
Iranians will continue treading their path even if the whole world stands up to the Islamic Iran, declared President Ahmadinejad.
Presently, he said, many countries in the region have developed nuclear bombs while no one has protested them.
He added that they oppose the Iranian nation's peaceful nuclear program because they know history and are well aware of the talent of the Iranian nation which has turned into a role model for other nations.
