I sincerely hope that Pakistani deep state got some sort of plan in place when this regime got toppled by pro American setup , Shah era type, someone Hamid Karzai kind. There are no middle path in Iran, either crazy Mullah or pro American lot. Pro American setup mean the opening of hell gates from Iranian border, cia/mossad/raw , you name it. we dont even have a local resistance like we have in Afghanistan in the shape of Talibans.

American sponsored regime is Iran like waking up from worst nightmare. Modi in east, American tatto Ashraf Ghani in north west, and another american tatto in Iran, south west. The rats in the east will descend in iran like locust invasion. All sorts of terrorism will be unleashed in Baluchistan and rest of Pakistan.

If the emergence of American sponsored regime is imminent, Pakistan must move into Iran and nip it in the bud, there are no other options.

Doesn't matter whether this regime is immoral or not but the fact of the matter is that it's very incompetent. With the amount of resources and educated poppulation it has, Iran can easily become the Germany of Middle East and be one of the most prosperous countries on earth but the result is that it's turned into an incompetent North Korea. Resources that belong to Iranian people are being distributed among Arabs all for some wet dreams of religious elites. Iranains in this forum also seem to be stuck in 1980s and don't seem to realise that the world has completely changed. We don't live in ideological mumbo jumbo anymore. Domination is nowadays achieved by industry and wealth. As long as Iran is isolated from global economy and choose to live in a ideological fantasy, it will never be a challenge to any country. Let alone the US. If this whole blunder has taught anything to anyone, it's that they need to rethink what their priorities are and the fact that their incompetent regime is wasting precious time and resources of the Iranian people.

I am rooting for them, but I fear for their safety. But the writing is on the wall.....even if the people fail today, they will come back again. Iranians are too well educated and connected to buy into such oppression for much longer. The have too much prosperous family abroad.

My biggest fear is a televised massacre that draws the US in. Trump is very squeamish when it comes to seeing dead bodies.

I don't know what indoctrination you need to go through to think this. The US not only had a drone base on Pakistani soil, to carry out strikes in Waziristan with the ISI and SAD on the ground...not only did we know that Pakistan was assisting the Taliban in killing Americans....not only did we give billions of aide.......but you were harboring the worlds most wanted man, and all we did was go in and kill him, and come out. With no scolding of Pakistan.

Whoever is telling you that the US wants to harm Pakistan in any way....we all know the reason.

Iran not only harbors but also controls Ayman Al Zawahiri who is the main operational guy of AQ. This thing goes back to days when Anwar Sadat was assassinated. Iranian passive aggressive behavior throughout the region is not surprisingly well publicized but those are not secrets.
