IPL TV Ratings Dip In First Week Of Fifth Season
NEW DELHI (AP) — Television ratings for the first six games of the Indian Premier League season are 19 per cent down on last year, local media has reported.
The Hindustan Times Thursday said that Tam Media Research, which is the country's top rating agency, has confirmed an initial lack of interest in the fifth season.
Cumulative reach, which is the number of people who watch a program for at least a minute, has gone down by 12 per cent from 101 million last year to 90 million this year.
The fall for this year's IPL, which runs from April 4-May 27, mirrors the decline in Indian crowds last year, blamed on viewer fatigue owing to the preceding World Cup.

I am actually liking IPL. I have returned to India after 7 or so years. It does have very good entertainment value. My entire family watches them.

Matches i have seen so far have been breathtaking....CSK vs RCB match today was carnage as they rightly said :)

IMO broadcasting IPL should be banned in Pakistan. If the indians can mix politics with sports and bar Pakistani players from playing for IPL, then the least we can do is, not give publicity to IPL on Pakistani platforms.

Question is...Why Pakistani want to join IPL (INDIAN PREMIER LEAUGE). ...?

I return from office early these days ... Courtesy ipl .. I enjoy these two months better than remaining 10 .. I really feel hangover after ipl is over ...people may criticize it for thousand reasons but it certainly gives me reason to come early to my room and thats what matters
