Alternative view to the main stream US / British media
Destruction of Libya perhaps was a dark chapter viewed live by millions in our modern history.
Under the veil of "Protecting" civilians legitimate government in Libya was not allowed to defend it's cities by their Air-force.
The rebels were Armed by heavy weaponry to engage and destabilize the army in country
Strategic mistake by Russians to pull out support for Libya , loosing a key ally
Now when I view the historic reference , it reads it was "Civil" war as if the heavy weaponry and stealth plane bombardment just happen to come from thin air lol
Many folks today argue well why was Libya different then any other conflict and the answer is simple Oil
Is it not strange that after Libya got destabilized suddenly we find there is suddenly LARGE supply of oil in markets ? Who is pumping this extra oil in market ? I think the extra oil is coming from Libya
Today after the so called civil war concluded (if you believe that) has resulted in a destabilized military , rouge entities ruling or rather fighting over peace of scrap or meat thrown by the corporations who control the oil sector.
This used to be a quite rich Arab - Muslim country not long ago
The funny part is one of the sons was a Pro Democracy advocate who was recently sent to Death Sentence. The son used to be quite popular in the Western circles as champion of Democracy. Attending Universities and writing amazing thesis about how Democracy is the best thing on the world and how his ideas if implemented can move Libya forward.
And that too after Libya had paied $$$ Ransom money for any ill activity caused to any accident in airplane that may have been attributed to them
Now , we find USA is busy planning similar notion of trying to convict Saudia leadership of 911 and trying to steal Trillions in $$$ belonging to another Arab country
Typical divide and conquer rule used by Imperialist
Will Saudia face same type of sanctions and harassment in upcoming years ?
Libya before the sponsored war (from outside) , was practically a Rich country with just 6 million population and billions in revenue , average income was quite high
- Free education
- Free health care
- Loans for young Libyans etc
- Water projects envy of world
- Donations to African governments to reduce poverty

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned the US against repeating the mistake it made in Libya in Syria, noting that Barack Obama’s confession about Libya being his “greatest mistake” shows the US President is a “decent person.”
“Firstly, it confirms once again that the current US president is a decent man - and I say this without irony, because it’s not easy to say such things,” President Putin said during his annual Q&A session.
He recalled that Barack Obama, while still a senator, had criticized the actions of the US administration on its 2003 Iraq campaign.
“Unfortunately, [Obama] himself made those mistakes in Libya. It is very good that my colleague has the courage to [admit it], not everyone can do it,” Putin said, adding that “only a strong man” can make such bold statements. But Putin stressed “the bad thing is that this series of errors continues. After all, the same mistake was almost made in Syria, and it is still not clear what the outcome will be.”
Motto of story:
Hmm I suppose it is ok to destroy a country and then just say it was a mistake

Obama admits worst mistake of his presidency
(CNN)President Barack Obama said the worst mistake of his presidency was a lack of planning for the aftermath of the 2011 toppling of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi.
"Probably failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya," he said in a Fox News interview aired Sunday.
This is not the first time in recent weeks he has talked about Libya and the NATO-led intervention which resulted in Gadhafi's death in October of that year, months after NATO first intervened.
Can we say ISIS was just like Libyan rebels ?
Russia made short-work of the no fly zone
And what about the son Saif, he was PHD writing thesis for peace and democracy western educated, very posh and stylish he was used to hang with dignitaries in Western circles
Giving speeches how he wanted to help his people , he was really into this democracy thing
Convincing his father to give up weapons of mass destruction
Now not able to write nor carry a sword
How things change in this world - sometimes see it happen in Movies we claim such things
could never happen in real life
It was a practice in mid evil times they would cut the fingers or tendons of victims to cripple them for life so they cannot take revenge. They would cut your thumb index finger or even the middle finger so you would never be able to grip anything
Qaddafi was retiring , this son perhaps would have came into power and via reforms may be he would have introduced a light form of democracy in country (or he was led to believe)
Declarations made in 2002 , quite interesting start of the video
[7 countries] (US general states in start of video what he heard in 2002)
- Afghanistan (War happened infrastructure destroyed)
- Iraq (Government destroyed , sectarian violence flamed- Military gone)
- Libya (Government destroyed, military gone , gangs and mafia control land)
- Syria (Government Survived, Russia helped defeat the gangs ISIS)
- Lebanon (No real threat)
- Sudan (Would be nice to make base south of Egypt next to Saudia)
- Iran (Temporary rose flowers given for peace)
Notice how the news these days is talking about this "Secret" paper which point to other countries or governments ? And now pointing fingers at Saudia
With the release of secret 24 pages is the list about to get bigger? What do y'all think?
What if they just realized hey why not go after Saudia-Sudan together since they are close geographically , forget about Iran for now
