Guys, I just learned a very interesting fact. Turns out one of the Soviet engineers was the first one to precisely calculate RCS of an aircraft and how to reduce it. Senior Soviet aerospace engineers were very skeptical of his research paper and didn't bother with it.
One of the engineers from Murica read his research paper and later came up with a software using calculations from the paper. That software was able to design shapes with the least amount of RCS and using those shapes they were able to design an aircraft.
That 'Murican engineer worked for Skunk Works! And the aircraft they came up with was the first true stealth fighter F-117.
