Question is what information india is going to share on samjhota express blast case ?Are all probe completed by the investigating agencies.Some days back CBI opposed the bail appeal of the earlier accued arrested in the same case saying it still has to verify the Aseemanand's confessions.When GOI is as confused as CHI on the case they will end up sharing wrong info to pakistan hence creating more confusion between india and pak.

Home Minister P. Chidambaram has said “some evidence” has emerged in the 2007 Samjhauta blast case and India will share information with Pakistan once the probe is over.

“We have not said that we will not provide evidence. These are early phases of investigation...once the investigation is complete we will share the evidence with Pakistani authorities,” he said.

Mr. Chidambaram said that he had conveyed India’s position to his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik.

“We had no indication (earlier) as to who may have been behind the attack. Now we have some evidence. A couple of people are suspects,” he told NDTV here.

He said that right-wing group Abhinav Bharat member Swami Aseemanand has confessed his involvement in the Samjhauta case as also in the Malegoan blast case before a court.

Aseemanand says no to ‘saffron’ group lawyers​

Springing another surprise, Swami Aseemanand, an accused in Samjhautha Express, Ajmer, Mecca Masjid and Malegaon blasts, has refused services of lawyers from saffron-affiliated groups, and insisted that he be provided a government counsel.

Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) Additional Superintendent of Police S S Ranawat told The Sunday Express that a group of lawyers had approached Swami Aseemanand and offered to represent him, but he declined.

“Though some lawyers did approach Aseemanand, he declined and only said that he would request a government- appointed lawyer when the need arises,” Ranawat said.

A senior lawyer associated with the RSS who did not want to be named confirmed that they have offered to defend Aseemanand. “We approached him, asking whether he would like to be represented... but he barely gave it a thought,” the lawyer said.

Aseemanand’s decision has left lawyers defending the other accused in the Ajmer case wondering whether he has turned approver for the ATS. “It has many thinking whether he has turned approver for the state,” the lawyer added.

Some advocates, however, believe that Aseemanand refused the services because he can’t afford his own lawyer.

“Aseemanand claims to have little or no money to pay for a lawyer which is why he has requested for a government counsel,” said a senior advocate in Ajmer.

There are two sets of accused on this case on one side there are nine muslim guys and on the other side there is Aseemanand.And in case of both set of accused case is based on their confessions.So it throws up question if one is write then other is wron? or both parties collaborated to do the blast?




Malegaon blast case: CBI opposes bail to nine accused

Mumbai: The nine Muslims who have spent four years in jail for the Malegaon blast should not be granted bail, said the CBI in court today.

On the 17th of this month, the men asked that they be released because of Swami Assemanand's confession that right-wing Hindu groups were responsible for the blast which killed 37 people in the communally-sensitive town of Malegaon in Maharashtra in 2006.

But the CBI told a special court for the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) that Swami Aseemanand's confession - recorded in December in a Delhi court - has yet to be verified. :rotfl:

Other than that, the Muslim men have produced no valid reason for their bail.

The Malegaon investigation was handed over to the CBI in December 2006. For the next three years, the CBI did not submit any report on the case. In February last year, it said that there was no evidence to charge the nine men jailed for the Malegaon blast, but stressed that it believes they are indeed responsible for the terror attack.
That remains its stand in court, boosting the demand by politicians to ask that the government to submit a white paper on Hindu terror and the persecution of Muslim youth.
"LK Advani had said that all Muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims. I can also say now that all RSS men are not terrorists but all terrorists are RSS men!'' said Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh today.

Investigation is still going on...No one is proved Guilty yet..! If any one is proved guilty be it anyone ,,,it should not be spared and will get punishment according to court of Law..!

And after the investigation will be over each and every relevent information will be shared with pakistani authorities.
