In his interview on the program Jirga, Musharraf conceded that Imran Khan is the only guy politician who is not a hypocrite and has a backbone. He also, stressed that all Pukhtoons are not Taliban, and to win the WoT, we need to differentiate and separate the angered Pukhtoon from the Taliban. A strategy Imran Khan has long advocated and, for which he was wrongly adjourned to be a Taliban sympathizer.

Folks who passionately support Musharraf and the WoT have long criticized Imran Khan for his stance on the WoT. They either should, label Musharraf as a Taliban sympathizer or gracefully accept that, Imran Khan was spot on his strategy vis-a vis WoT.

Watch Part 2 from 5:00 onwards for Musharraf's comments regarding the WoT, and Part 3 from 6:00 onwards for his opinion about Imran Khan.

A coalition of Imran and Musharaf would be good for Pakistan -

And ironically it would be same case that could have happened when Musharaf once offered Imran a chance to be prime minister back in his hay days

How the time have turned ... and then Imran was running from police and hunger striker on those strange days ..

So now I am completely confused what is happening luckily there are 2 more years to elections and enough time for something to happen

If I am not wrong, Musharaff himself was the first person to coin the term Taliban Khan for IK.

oh thats so bloody lame,

Imran khan is so confused himself, he dont know what he want, to support taleban or not to. or just play ignorant.

right now pakistan just need one leader who not from the top brass, because most of the top brass are either too corrupt or just too much under pressure.

tujh se to main baat bhi nahi kar raha. ......;)

its a public forum - nobody need to listen just give their opinion. its not somebody's chcha ki shadi.

-xx-x-x-x-

pakistan had some tough time in past majorly because of its politicians. who were not just able to pioneer the nation but they are the one who put the country in such mess. although the west might say otherwise but i guess all is still undercontrol and it wont be too long - they need a tough leader may be musharaff wont be too bad of an option right now.

i wont base the final opinion on the opinion of american (i.e wikileak )

You seem to be in a quagmire yourself doc. IK never supported the Taliban but he did support the innocent Pakistani Pukhtoons, which we all should do as Pakistanis or humans.. Not all Pukhtoons are Taliban, but some Taliban are Pukhtoons. Just like not all Muslims are terrorists, but some are led astray to carry out activities which negate the principles of Islam.

IK is a new face and not your normal run of the mill politician. He was not given the Chief Minister's house keys on his first birthday and he does not have a family name or legacy to hide behind. He draws his support from clear cut policies and a vision, and probably that's precisely why we don't know most of the people in PTI, because they are your normal folks working from 9 to 5, and not sugar mills owners.

The implementation of PTI's vision has not been perfect, I would be the first one to say that, but with time IK will better himself.
