IMO,
Its all about revenues..can govt meet it revenues target with taxation and can the govt keep CAD low once oil prices normaloze back later this year

CAD really doesnt depend upon this moe however if govt starts state bank lending (printing notes to get to revenue target) then yes it will add to CAD

the move will obvisouly dent inflation though this will mean equal benefit to rich and poor vs targeted subsidy
