What is the importance of IGNOU degree ?

I am planning MA in Public administration from IGNOU . Cleared my 3rd year BA exams but I want a job so will not apply for the Jammu university . How good is Open university ?

I know someone who did a degree from IGNOU (B.ed degree), wanted to work as a teacher. However this was in addition to an economics degree from a normal college, and did manage to land a job. Not sure about other courses.

Why did you drop out in your 4th year? Thats like the easiest and funnest of the lot, esp the last sem, only project work!

Na ! They were angry for past 3 years as i was the cause of humiliation But they are happy now ( some what )

Was having tough time clearing papers . I wasn't interested . I broke my toe playing in cricket academy . This gave me time to look back . By the time I realized , I had 25 back logs ( 22 theory papers and 3 internals )

It good as any regular college of DU in this stream

The value is same for any Post grad
Except big ones

Bank clerk , SSC LDC or DEO etc etc

I have been under Jammu and Kurukshetra University . Lost faith in both of them . When teacher themselves say write 7 page answer to 20 marks question only then you will get 12-15 marks , I lose hope . I was in CBSE school for 3 years and we got marks for too the point answer . These universities demand you to write write and write .

4 months in Haryana ( Swami devi dayal , hostel ) was a life changer for me . It was fun but i would have gone the wrong path and I feel lucky , I was able to return home .

why wrong path? a bit of fun is good to concentrate on studies.. the jobs you are competing requires quite long time preparation...
join a uni, stay in hostel, prepare for these exams, even take coaching if you could(dont concentrate on PG much)... I have doubt you stayed in hostel because you sound like immature mama's boy... infact run away from home... thats my advice... parents wont allow you to grow...
