Recently, terrorists attacked an artillery unit of Indian army at Nagrota in Jammu and in this incident, we lost two young officers and five other jawans. But, why did the terrorists target this camp?

It is true that for last few months, terrorists have been targeting Indian military installations. Attack on Pathankot Air Force Base, Army camp at Uri,Baramulla indicates towards a new strategy of Pak Army and ISI to specifically target Indian military installations. By doing this, it wants to prove that Indian military force is being targeted by rebels as it is carrying out atrocities on people in J&K. It also want to get support of locals in Kashmir by not attacking them. But these are not the only reasons for which terrorists chose to attack Nagrota army camp. There is another reason for which they did so. If we believe Indian army version, Pak army had suffered heavy casualties due to artillery fire carried out along the LoC. Whenever, our jawans were attacked by border action team of Pakistan near Line of Control, our troops retaliated by carrying out heavy firing on Pak troops using artillery guns. Several Pak bunkers, forward posts were destroyed due to attack by our forces.

On Oct 29, our forces carried out such attack on Pak troops by using artillery guns in order to avenge beheading of one soldier. In this attack, 15 to 17 Pakistan bunkers were destroyed and 20 jawans of Pakistani Army were killed.

A few days ago, Pak Bat team killed three Indian soldiers and beheaded one of them in Machhal sector near LoC. Indian army had vowed to take revenge of this incident. Then it inflicted heavy damage on Pakistan by targeting around 15 posts. Indian army used artillery guns, anti-tank missile and anti-aircraft guns to carry out the attack. Pakistan suffered heavy casualties due to the attack although it officially claimed that only three military personnel were killed. As they suffered heavy damage, so their DGMO talked to our DGMO and tried to bring peace near LoC. Since then, LoC has remained calm. Then suddenly Nagrota incident happened.

So, it seems that Pak chose to target army artillery unit at Nagrota as it had suffered heavy damage due to artillery fire in recent times. By making such attempt, it had tried to weaken fire power of Indian army near LoC.

So, the government should take note of this and prepare counter strategy to punish Pakistan army. It should also consider whether it will allow army personnel to keep maintaining peace near Line of Control or direct it to avenge the killings of our jawans by attacking Pakistani posts. The best strategy is to direct Indian army to avenge every terrorist launch pads near LoC. Because, it the best way to put pressure on Pak and make it suffer heavy casualties without crossing the border.

. . . . . .
This looks to be written by these 14 year old posters rather than a defence analyst. Would the writer care to know the small time violations still happened along the LOC and were reported a but by media on both sides. Ofcourse he didn't. He doesn't care about making sense or looking at facts but to only make jingoistic post. Copy paste this material and write it as a post and people would be laughing at you here. That's the class of this article.

But jingoists will believe. They have nothing better to do.

It highlights that just bcz its on a site or made it way into print media doesn't mean its true or makes sense.
