I would beg India to reconsider (wheat export ban) : IMF Chief

India itself is starving, sending wheat out isn't going to help
We aren't starving, we have enough stock, even overflow. We are just securing our position in this man-made crisis like China is buying out all international wheat shipments even though it doesn't need it. Pakistan might feel the heat soon.

lol just like india had "enough" oxygen and health care infrastructure during covid times, but then we all saw the reality

Obviously not the poor, there’s no poverty in the land of pure!
Of course they shouldn't. Those who ate Seepek should pay the bill naturally. The rich have money minting machines invented by Rahul Gandhi, "Aalu dalo, Sona nikalo". They can always hire the Dubai Shaikhs to start the minting machine.

We are a surplus food production state. We didn't have food scarcity for decades. We last imported wheat in 2004 when we over exported our food stock. Govt is ensuring that never happens.

Maybe that’s why under developed western countries should learn from 1st world Pakistan how to improve health infra and how to control pandemics!

There were two options for all countries with limited resources at that stage.

First, Feed the poor, give money in the hands of the poor, ensure medical supplies as much as possible.

Second, Feed the Mediahouses and IT cells.

India chose the first option so it recieved flack from the media, IT cells, economy devastated. Many countries chose the second option because it was cheaper. Today India is in better position because it chose the first option even though it had to sacrifice its political interest. Those who chose the second option will continue suffering bit by bit for a long time.

Just a fruitful thought.
Completely optional products from first world economies that require very complex industrial base to manufacture are extremely expensive and are exported to poor countries at same price as in their own countries.

Meanwhile basic necessecities from poor regions that they can manage to produce is provided at dirt cheap rate to these developed countries, Almost at the same price as they are sold in those poor countries.

India is starving while the land of pure isn’t due to Seepek.

And I don't think getting millions of Indians killed due to COVID-19 and the ineptitude of the Indian government is going to fix anything
