The issue of counterfeit items is everywhere. It should be sold anywhere whatsoever. I think it is not appropriate answer to say that some poor people specifically want counterfeit items as they can't afford original ones, such items should be branded in accordance with the price and should be good alternative for poor.

Al-Karama is full of Indian people with some amazing restaurants out there. There was one good Pakistani restaurant in Al-Karama as well... We all loved it

I think the reason why these mullah folks tend to do a lot of these stupidity it is because they value economy fraud as low crime but s ex and skirt is very high crime.
while the other groups value protecting their economy and industries because that is survival and your quality of your life depends on it and that is high priority.
