How does the count of Views work

Here Awareness of NEM weapons and need for legislation
I gave this address to multiple forums elsewhere and facebook. I have received several discussion replies elsewhere from various countries but number of views of the thread does not increase beyond two until the time of writing. When I was reading the thread, at some time after posting the thread, I noticed there were five simultaneous visitors to the thread but number of viewrs never increased beyond two. What is going on?
