I was going to load the same, apparently if the Tattoo connection is true, he was a US Marine ?????????

Marines or GIs usually get these on their arms so that's unlikely!
Is it right that the shoot off this morning was carried out on local intel and not a terrorist attack rather a Police/military raid!?
Cuz in that case seems like these guys were the handlers of yesterday's attack and were supposed to skip town but probably couldn't because of beefed up security. Just my 2 cents.

The blatant attack on Peshawar Airport followed by the Taliban claiming responsibility is not new. We have seen this scene play many times before; the GHQ in Rawalpindi, Mehran Base in Karachi, Kamra Complex near Taxila and now the airport in Peshawar. We congratulate the Pakistani security forces who successfully repelled the attack and killed the attackers. It is unfortunate that some are implying that because of a bizarre tattoo on one of the dead terrorist, he may be an implant from the West or a U.S Marine. Why would the Taliban allow someone like him to join their organization? How would this person keep such a large body tattoo hidden? We all know that the Pakistani authorities have identified some of the attackers as Uzbeks. So there is a strong possibility that he could be one of them. Why couldn’t he get his tattoo in Russia where they are very popular? Is it not easy for a person who lives in the Central Republics to travel to Russia?

Conspiracy theories do not have a beginning or an ending; we can keep them going as long as we want. The fact is that the Taliban are our common enemy. They have attacked and killed many of our soldiers and civilians on both sides of the border. We have said this before and we say this again, that a strong and stable Pakistan is in everyone’s interest. It is a very important country in the region, and its prosperity and stability affects the regional partners as well. The region has suffered enough due to the terrorists who have made Pakistan their base. They need to be eliminated, and we fully stand by Pakistan and its security forces when they defend their people and their nation against these evil forces.

clarification on just one more thing when you say that Taliban are common enemies, do you mean that those who attack from within Pakistan on Pakistan are also your enemy?

pantagram satan sign

Where do you see a pentagram in there? And btw a pentagram is not a satanic sign its a pagan symbol.

The baseless connection of a skull tattoo to the US Marines is stupid. Also, it would serve you well to know that there are many Uzbek, Tajik, Kazakh and Chechen taliban fighters living in Afghanistan since the Soviet Afghan war.

wow what a stupid statement by krash..
well the Soviet Afghan war was started in 79 and ended in 89..according to your statement the fighters have not aged as they should have been..so these are the same fighters that fought in that war or you meant that they have opened up tattoo parlors in Kabul,Kandahar and where not..
clearly if you not follow the traditional news sources you will get to know that these terrorists were in the age bracket of 25 to 35..so why not you just do the math and figure out their ages when the Soviet Afghan war was in full swing..or take the end date for your case..

You're new here I'll let you go this once. The sense of my post, if you'd entertain it, is that them being Uzbeks does not mean that they weren't Taliban. The Taliban have had the central asian countries as their recruiting grounds for quite some while. The Soviet-Afghan war might have ended but the recruitment didn't. Even the TTP has had Uzbek, Tajik, Kazakh, etc members. Get it, my good man? Or do you actually believe that the TTP and the Taliban are not phony hired guns?

Welcome to the forum.

Tattoos form of identification among terrorists: Mian Iftikhar

12-17-2012_80051_l.jpg

Provincial Information Minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mian Iftikhar said the terrorists were aiming to take over the Air Base and then the surrounding area.

Speaking to the media he further added, that tattoos are a form of identification amongst terrorist organizations. He was referring to the Skull and Horn tattoo on the back of one of the terrorists killed during the attack.

Mian Iftikhar said that the security agencies timely and actively responded and not only halted the terrorists before reaching their targets but also killed all of them.

Lauding the efforts of security agencies infighting the terrorist, he said that due to the timely efforts of the agencies a number of terrorist activities have been prevented during the last few months.

He said that terrorists are only terrorists neither they are Muslims nor Pakistani, they donot deserve to be named as human being and they are pursuing their evil agenda of barbarism. They target public places and kill innocent people in order to frighten the masses, he added.

Responding to a question, the Provincial Minister said that terrorist activities will not come to an end until and unless the terrorist elements existed, and in order to restore peace in the region all the three countries USA, Pakistan and Afghanistan should be united either to talk to the terrorist elements or fight a decisive war against them.

Later on, the Provincial Minister visited the Hayatabad Medical Complex to enquire about the health of the injured people admitted in the hospital.

He directed the authorities of the hospital to provide all possible medical treatment to the victims. He expressed his feelings of sympathy with the bereaved families of the bomb blast victims and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace.
