Help required regarding Youtube

I have been facing this problem for last 4 months and have searched all over the internet to find a fix for it but haven't been successful.

My youtube videos stop buffering after a few seconds after I stop them and don't resume buffering until I play them further/again. This happens only with 360p resolution or more. The videos buffer normally till the end with 240p resolution but not with 360p or 480p.

I have not changed my internet provider/connection, then why am I encountering this problem ?

Actually, This feature started from past 3-4 months where youtube has changed setting to stop buffering for high resolution so your bandwidth does not get lost when you are idle for some time They have also given setting if we want to continue buffering such videos. I have to check the same and will get back to you once found.

try seeting ur default connection speed to slow , youtube menu.

it has something to do with the new HTML5 prototyping on the youtube web pages.

they started the beta run o f HTML5 arnd the same time u started having the problem.

So thts my 2 cents try it out. Try using Crome .
