QUETTA, Oct 4: The Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) held a demonstration on Sunday in protest against lawlessness and target killings in the city.
HDP leaders Mohammad Riaz, Mirza Hussain Hazara, Shujaat Ali Shuja, Sardar Sail Hazara and Haji Mohammad Ashraf said there was inadequate security in the city and terrorists escaped easily after committing a crime.
They said the Frontier Corps and police had set up several check-posts in the city, but attackers always managed to escape.
The HDP leaders said the government was spending huge sums on law-enforcement agencies, but the FC and police had failed to arrest the killers.
They said the Hazaras had lost trust in law-enforcement agencies because they had failed to perform their duties.
