Three people are dead following a rampage by a terrorist shooter who shouted "Allah Akbar!" before he was arrested and taken into custody by police.
Terrorist shooter, Kori Ali Muhammad, 39 has shot and killed three people outside a Motel 6 in central Fresno, in California.
One federal agent from Fresno told Catholic Online that the Federal authorities know the terrorist and his gang well.
Police are insisting the crime is a random act of violence, carried out by a lone perpetrator, but people do not shout Islamic slogans while killing others unless motivated by religion and seeking to inspire terror. The fact that federal agents know who he was also suggests is a member of a criminal affiliation. The federal agent who spoke to Catholic Online did so on the condition of anonymity. No elaboration has been offered.
Catholic Online was told the crime was racially motivated against whites and that the terrorist also expressed anti-government sentiments.
Six people in all were targeted, three of whom are dead, one injured. All his victims were white males, while Muhammad himself is black. Two of the victims may have been clients of Catholic Charities. These people were shot in front of the facility.
Another victim was a Pacific Gas & Electric worker in his work truck.
When police arrived to take Muhammad into custody, they opened fire on him. He immediately dove to the ground, shouting "Allah Akbar" as police took him into custody.
The FBI and ATF have also responded to the scene of the attack.
