Hand Made Car Build By Pakistani Welder | Build Car Form Scratch

. . .
It looks really solid! And I love the body paint. This colour has some magical impact on my mood. I just wish he had also talked about the estimated cost of this vehicle. At least it`s better than buying Suzuki Mehran.

hope in future we also start making electric cars on our own, there are reports that u.s scientists have successfully developed batteries using sodium which is found in salt and can replace usage of lithium in future for battery manufacture, salt is available in large amount in Pakistan,if we make effort we can develop such batteries at low costs

Not to sound like a critic but 4 years? Unless he is looking to get into a job with a car company these 4 years were better spent doing something else. You need an engineering degree to do all the structural calculations (he is a welder but you need a computer to simulate structural stresses). He can't obviously mass produce it so it is a one-off MVP that has no possible buyers especially in Pakistan. It also probably is a death trap. Would the chassis hold up hitting a pothole at 50KPH which is normal for our roads? I think not.

It is not easy to build project like this especially Pakistan because pak doesn't have Walmart or tool super store where you can buy all the tools under one roof and others.
Anybody that has done metal work would know how hard it is lifting heavy steel and back pains.

Does the uk mini meet requirements, does Chinese cars meet specifications, and this lot got lot more budget and government support.

The old man deserves big respect, put all pak government together they can't make half of this. Problem is we criticize not extend help to improve or showcase.
Pakistani the great talent killers yai ni vo ni hu sakta khali goray kartey ta japani

Where did all other car manufacturers start from in the garage diy ?

It is, but you have to admire his dedication and enterprise to see this through.
Pakistan needs more people with the same spirit.
He did't invent a car but he welded a dubba and put a purchased engine build by someone else.

I need less than one month to build a car with provided engine despite even I am not a welder.

If only people like this gentleman were encouraged, celebrated and given the support and means to show case their ingenuity, Pakistan would go far..........

Brother, if pak decides to become manufacturer it will benefit immensely, but they don't. Plus they have paks overseas to promote it and import. Quality control is no problem we can speak English and understand what customer wants. Pakistan being a hard country and ppl wanting products to last for life it would be perfect for pak to go into manufacturing/r and d.

You need physical strength a good backbone. Old man did this with limited knowledge and budget.

By all means it's a pet project and no one's disrespecting him for it. More power to him to build whatever he wants to.

In a country were commoner is handicapped by top elite whether it wages, education, no social security, health care, sanitation, monopoly car industries, no large stores to buy all tools in one basket or postal services that works so one order goods and to receive it. if this was europe no one would have manage to build a simple car. But in pak despite all this he built a simple car.
