Govt to establish Research Institutes to boost agriculture‚ livestock production

The Government plans to establish Research Institutes at a cost of one hundred and seventy million rupees to boost agriculture and livestock production in the country.

According to official sources‚ Horticulture Research Institute will be established in Khuzdar‚ Animal Quarantine Station in Gwadar‚ Livestock Research Institute in Turbat‚ Balochistan.

A horticulture unit for nursery fruit plant and vegetable seed certification system will also be established.

The Government of Sindh has approved to establish five new research centres in Agriculture sector.

It would be better if Government Leased heavy trucks and equipment for farming to farmers on subsidized schemes
