This monrning i was calculating the civilian death toll which saw 142% decrease vis a vis Jan-sept 2013 and 2014.Though the TTP origin activities against civilian are reduced by more than 1170%.

The crux is that Govenment has been asked by GHQ to fund the operation separately from defence budget. The military leadership hasn't provided any deadline for the operation rather told the government that operation may intensify going forward so government be ready to make funds readily available when needed.

ZeA is an all encompassing operation, that covers every small operation taken. At least from what I've been able to decipher. This budget should cover most, if not the entire operation to it's very end. This is a temporary increase, and once the operation is complete, the budget will probably go back to normal levels.

From what I've read, most of the cost is going to be covered by a sub-charge on rich tax payers (i.e those whom can afford it), though I would rather the government just do what the IMF says, and increase it's tax base. Pakistan can become one of the richest nations in the world, if only the government actually increased the number of taxer payers.

The report says that $150 million additional money will be provided to Pakistan Army for the operations against TTP in the current financial year. This new money will be additional to the $7 billion defense budget. The federal government has provided only $2 billion to Pakistan Army from $10 billion received from the USA in last 10 years while the Army expected 40% or $4 billion.
