It is a quite interesting fact that Talibans have never hurt any Indian interests in Afghanistan and never had taken hostage a single Indian army/RAW personal, despite their heavy presence, exactly in troubled border areas of Pakistan-Afghanistan, border. In simple words Taliban infested areas.
It is not all...., along these border areas many indian consulates can be found, while ANA suppose to be patrolling on Pakistan-Afghanistan border adjoining FATA.
The reason of presence of Indian consulates since long 10years is kept classified by all parties involved in Afghanistan and their suspicious activities.
In any case those Indian consulates and (ragtag) ANA militia seems to be in full harmony with heavily equiped Taliban.

Where as to the contrary, in a recent attack hundreds of Taliban from Afghanistan attacked Pakistan army convoy..... just yards inside Pakistan border and took hostage 50 Pakistani soldiers, back to Afghanistan.
Those Pakistani soldiers were deployed in area under heavy US requests and co-operation agreements with Pakistan army.

This part of Pak-afghan border, also suppose to be heavily guarded by, NATO and deadly drones suppose to be a shout away.
How come a convoy, as big as four to five hundred heavily armed militias moved into Pakistan and took 50 armed men back to Afghanistan as a hostage?????? While those joint patrolling of NATO and ANA missed the whole action!
This single incident expose quite frightening for Pakistan and raise fingers on the role of US and other states in Afghanistan, specially presence of Indians.

It even raise a big question for whole Pakistan… that, what lies in future.
Why govt. of Pakistan is not moved with such open terrorism originatin gfrom Afghanistan and why our Army has not conducted counter operation to retrieve its companions?

Just to assure you that Pakistan Army takes appropriate actions to deal with these issues. However, the details of these actions are not publicized and leaked to media due to OPSEC process. The success of the mission is more important than getting media attention unless the media exposure is beneficial to the mission as a whole.

Our enemies are smart guys who use media to caste doubt on the ability of the Pakistan armed forces as part of Psychological warfare doctrine. Pakistan armed forces understand this and will not fall in to this trap. You will soon hear the good news once the mission is accomplished .

IMO... it is clear that ANA is involoved and it being representative of Afghanistan.... it is open war!
PAF can bomb the all their border posts where they meet greet Taliban!
Next... no Afghan will ever dream to join ANA.

After this incident it is clear that their is zero presence of NATO on the borders... they are only limited to Kabul, while thier drones totally ignoring the big formations of Talibans, moving in and out of Afghanistan.

Some need to answer... who need to do more?

It is not ANA but the newly formed RAMA( Research and Analysis Milli Afghan) - the new Afghan Military intelligence. They are doing exactly the same like their predecessor KHAD did during the Soviet era. We used to face similar cross border terror from KHAD when the Soviets were desperate. Afghanistan is more dangerous to Pakistan than any country in the world. It destroys us from outside and within ( by taking advantage of our generosities). From militarily and socially. Most of the notorious criminals in Pakistan are Afghans.

Agree... but still, NATO turning blind eye on such a huge military operation from Taliban does not go down the throat.

I don't know the details from Afghan war but i can recall the US peace deal with Muqtada Sadar! where he was given free hand in return for not attacking US soldiers.
Point is if US is looking for similar peace deals in Afghanistan and offering leverage to northern alliance (today's Afghan parliament) or to Talibans?
After all the kidnapped or dead were not US soldiers!!! i don't expect US to grief on dead or lost Pakistanis!!!
A weaker Pakistan is what enimies of Pakistan dreaming and struggling for!!!
we know for fact that US support TTP by turning blind eye when they cross border in to Afghanistan and import arms and explosives to Pakistan.

in any case why Taliban ignored huge presence of indians?
Indian companies are bagging road and building making contracts
worth billions of dollars and they have hundreds indians working out in open... where NATO soldiers will be resisted...!
In such senario, i could only think of two things;
1-either Taliban consider indians untouchables! 2-or Talibans are simply friendly with Indians!!!!

The acronym for Afghanistan's intelligence agency is NDS not RAM or RAMA or RAAM or the multitude of other acronyms that keep popping up with the various connotations of Ram.

In English its National Directorate of Security or NDS. Lets be professional and stick to the OFFICIAL acronym which is NDS .

On second thoughts if you look at the thinking of the Taliban wether Pakistani or Afghani and what they really want--not the Indian ISraeli CIA conspiracy theories--this is quite logical evolution in a way.

The Both Afghan Taliban and TTP want to establish an "Islamic state" and hold the present govt. in both Afghanistan and Pakistan as stooges of the US that are their only because of US support. The TTP have long held the view that because of this it is legitimate to attack Pakistani establishment i.e. their security and government forces. The Afghan Taliban have refrained saying that they want to focus on Afghanistan to get rid of the US first. The logical outcome of Taliban winning over Afghanistan will be a boost to the TTP---make no mistake about that.

This is only speculation but the the attack could be just TTP cadre that had run away due to the PA operations in FATA and have decided to retaliate from the Afghan side. Most of the various Taliban group might not be attacking PA right now because of their conventional superiority but IMO they are ideologically opposed to Pakistan just as much as they are opposed to the Afghan govt. For them there is no difference and hence the differentiation between "good" and "bad" Taliban highly impractical.

What do you mean by YOU? Once you clear it up than i'll ask for references??? and counter references may follow from my side....

Now comming to the subject....I asked question, why are Taliban not killing indians?

While Indinas are actively present in the border region of FATA!!
What is the secret deal???

Ahmed the point is we have a long and traditional enemity with India and both Pakistan and India will fight in almost every domain be it the afghanistan. The current setup of Afghanistan is noway friendly to Islamabad but it traditionally and historically leans more towards India. How can you expect us not to support anti forces to that fake,hostile and fragile setup in Kabul..!!!
