Fox News fans revolted after senior analyst Brit Hume smacked President Donald Trump for celebrating China’s anniversary.

The president congratulated the People’s Republic of China on the 70th anniversary of its founding, which prompted widespread criticism — including a statement of disapproval from Hume.

That admonishment from the veteran broadcaster infuriated many Fox News viewers, who lashed out at Hume on Twitter.

That's the true color of the western media, the very people working in this sector, what unbiased reports can you expect from this bunch of "senior" idiots ?

.
Correction, trump is playing 0D chess.

I suggest you take it up with the UN because according to the UN, the initials 'WMD' is not restricted to functional devices but to include programs to create functional devices. The meaning of the initials 'WMD' under UN approval have not been disputed except in the popular domain where crucial details are usually conveniently omitted in the cause of criticizing US. But when those details are considered, criticisms like yours falls apart like the proverbial house of cards under a slight breeze.

But here is someone you can read about his experience with WMD in Iraq...

He was Iraq's chief nuclear weapons scientist. His life in the pursuit of nuclear weapons for Iraq read almost like James Bond. He was literally a spy for Iraq. Once he taped uranium to his ankles to bypass airport security. Another time, he sought to buy maraging steel in the black market. Maraging steel is used for fencing foils and uranium centrifuge. It is an internationally controlled material, meaning you must have a valid justification to buy it over a certain limit. The 'bomb' that Obeidi referred to was a pair of functional centrifuge buried in his home's garden, hence the provocative title. He was ordered by Saddam Hussein to hide it there to escape UN inspectors.

This criticism no longer have any merit.

Well, this is freedom of expression. People can critic the President and as well as each other.

Agreed. What is the fuss? Why is this even a thread?

Some guy doesn’t like Trump wishing China a happy birthday and people here are suddenly linking it to being a champion of truth and humanity. Whut??

It only shows how media people are biased and you can feel the hatred overtake them, and you can never expect fair reports from those reporters.

That is the beauty of the US Constitution First Amendment: The Freedom of Speech.

In a free society, biases are truly exposed, giving the public full knowledge of where the publisher/orator/commentator stands. No one is truly unbiased, not even state media, or we must say that the most biased source of all is state media. So do not even try to lecture us on the media.

It's a fake freedom of speech, it's more of a manipulation of the general public, but more hidden and effective than ours I admit. mainstream media misleand and brainwashed the general public and marginalized outlier channels voice some different tones to have a token sign of freedom of speech.
Just talk to westerners who visited China and find out how they were shocked and realized how brainwashed they were after spending some time in China, while we Chinese never experience that kind of total shock when visiting other countries.

It's a fake freedom of speech,...
Fake? When you have left, right, and everything in the middle, how can it be fake?

...it's more of a manipulation of the general public,...
The word 'manipulation' here is more indicative of a pretentious cynicism covering up an acknowledgement of the truth. But to play along with you, when you tries to make a sales, persuade a pretty girl, or applying for a loan, can we say you are 'manipulating' your targets? Of course we can.

...but more hidden and effective than ours I admit.
Maybe. But that is because your state media have the power of force behind it. Is that how you want to be led? Not by persuasion but by force? But then again, you are used to it. So used to it that you considers it normal. The state won where you are.
