Folks in Istanbul

Hey guys!!

If anyone is familiar with Istanbul, lives there or has visited before, could you recommend any must go place for shopping? My friend is going to have a stopover and would have a whole day there I believe. I posted this in Cay thread, but thought I create a thread just in case if the post doesn’t get seen.

Preferably any places near the new airport. Any help will be much appreciated!! Sagol!!

True GB has literally everything under the sun. But any recommendations for malls? Ive found few suggestions on tripadvisor but wanted to know if people here could suggest something else too

There are many malls but I don't remember anything particular. I like the grand bazaar and bought many traditional sweets and other gifts for my friends. Other than that I didn't do any shopping there except buying a few shirts but I can't remember the place.

I believe he should go to Bagdat caddesi, thats my favorite street for shopping, it is where Fenerbahce futbol club is.
he can go there with wapur, a ship, which is so much fun
