Hello. I am in first year. I wanted to ask what should i do to reach army level of fitness? is gym enough or what should i do. All replies are appreciated!

Gym is not necessary but you should be generally healthy and have no disability. Height 5'6" or above. Instead of gym, jogging and running will be more useful especially for joining army.

Usually stamina is what matters the most. Bodyweight workouts, Crossfit & Circuit training will help you a lot rather than weight training in the gym and diet is the key

Also you can do things in outdoors - it doesn’t have to be inside a gym. My friend does outdoor hill walking, mountain hiking, some of them weighted mountain challenge etc

It is good for strength & stamina at the same time.

Jump rope helps alot with developing stamina and endurance.
