Fire dancing in Karachi
BBC Urdu's Shumaila Khan has been filming fire dancers in southern Pakistan. The performers are from the Sheedi community in Lyari, Karachi who trace their roots to east Africa 200 years ago when some of their forefathers were brought to the country as slaves. The dance is spectacular but dangerous and performers risk swallowing kerosene or being burnt.

Look at all the burger boys watching these poor Africans performing for them. For God sake they are Pakistanis, they need to be given jobs not made to act like their ancestors and be laughed at by paindus and burger boys from Defence areas.

The weather is alright; strangely enough I've grown accustomed to British weather and even my British friends think that I'm crazy when I walk out there with a sleeveless jacket and a pair of shorts while they're under layers of god knows how much clothing !
