Fauji Fertiliser bin Qasim Ltd (FFBL) plans to invest $15m in wind energy

A major Pakistani firm, Fauji Fertiliser bin Qasim Ltd (FFBL), has decided to invest $15m in the biggest wind energy project in the country, to be called Foundation Wind Energy. The company plans to invest $8.5m in Foundation Wind Energy-I for a period of two years and $6.5m in Foundation Wind Energy-II for a period of two years.

Resolutions for the investment will be placed and approved at the extraordinary general meeting of the company scheduled to be held on November 25, 2013.
