One of the reasons to join in this forum was to find out the truth behind incidents that occurred in Pakistan which we read here through sources which many often are has little inputs from the country where it happened if the name of the name of the country is Pakistan it is more important to know the facts and separate it from the fictions that many a times peddled along with it and in times fictions became truth while facts are hidden. In this series I will put a few narratives. I request my fellow members in the forum to go through the sources and share your side of your story so that a better perspective can be gained.

One such thing is 3 time coup that happened in Pakistan which gave our country more legitimacy across global platform as a stable democratic country a successful model country who successfully shred the past of colonialism and a successful country emulating western style democracy a champion of western liberalism where democracy, pluralism and a robust economic outlook with lots of potential persists. Many of you may not agree with this but even with all the incidents the image is still like this. So my request to my fellow members is to describe behind the reason of these coups and what are the effects of this on your country in every sphere? If it is good why is that and if bad why is that? And also have got past the effects of the coups? Also is there again a possibility of a coup again in future? And also how strong is the country's civil administration to resist such attempts in future?

That fact that you indians are sacred of Pakistan army shows when take every chance to spew something against them, while remain silent on the huge amount corruption cases that gets committed by civil administration. That fact Pakistan is still standing despite all the shit that is thrown at it, because of blessing from Allah, and the Pakistan army.

Can you please provide some inputs on the topic. I needed some inputs on the topic to understand your pov .

Not really. Since 2013 India's image is changed because the whole India is changed ,when modi and RSS terrorist government came to power and elected by indians. Today's India image is of a fascist Hindu extremist nation who commits genocide against it's minorities. And pass draconian laws against it's minorities to persecute them.
Meanwhile pakistan rapidly improved it's image after 2014. The world now sees and admires pakistan as a country which defeated terrorism inside it's territory and promoted peace and tourism . Pakistan has transformed itself from hard image to soft image. Whereas India exposed himself from a fake soft image secular diverse country to a true hardcore Hindu extremist nation.
Also is there again a possibility of a coup again in future?
Very very rare. Times here are changed. Army will interfere in politics indirectly but no general will dare to coup again.

Most of the pakistaniz i know trust the army more than civil leadership. We are a warrior nation children of foreign arab and turk and persian soldiers who ruled over majority of india burma Pakistan bangal and western Chinese regions. Not all of us but most of us.

So we have warrior blood in us. We are inclined towards military decipline and codes even in our life styles.

Its natural that we would always support our armies more than civil leadership . I know im not alone who thinks this way.

Army has managed the country 10x better than any civil leadership in Pakistan except for founders of pakistan.

I hope imran khan can change my perspective however i for now stand firmly in armed forces camp.

Army gets the job done.

Pakistan is getting prominence now a days with the advent of internet no doubt about that. Can you answer the other two questions what made such things happened and what are the impacts on various spheres ? A source which can represent your voice welcome so that a balanced view can be gained rather than one sided view.

Don't you think that is dangerous trend? Cause Army will not be answerable for their action to normal people like the civil govt do. Also it can create negative image of army among people too as too much power corrupts people and ultimately nepotism will occur which will be detrimental on army at the cost of your country.

I'd take that over what the civlian leadership offers. We as pakistaniz have to choose leeser of two evils.

I think the reason behind most coups in Pakistan were the corruption and incompetence of civil leadership . Pakistani civilian leadership were full of feudal Lord's , industrialists who were corrupt, won elections not on merit favored nepotism whereas Pakistani military is one of the few institutions of pakistan even to this day where selections occur purely on merit,it's follow a strict discipline and merit system and strict actions are taken against the corrupt . Though I believe few generals who committed corruption were not sent to jail but they were fired and lost their jobs. Still way better than corrupt civilian politicians who get elected over and over again. So for all those reasons army as a institution has a tendency to dislike civilian leadership and this culture got stronger overtime.
It impacted pakistan negatively by making army very stronger ,way more stronger than it should be.

You mentioned corruption even in our country it was rampant and nepotism too. I think you had one unfortunate incident which is by fate but costed you dear the demise of Jinnah so early as new countries need a charismatic leaders to make it get on their two feets even with all the demerit of Nehru he did set a strong foundation of civil adminIstration if Jinnah ruled Pakistan for a decade Pakistan would have fared much better. Don't you think?

Our military is not like the juntas of Burma or North Korea, our military is tied to the fabric of the country. The Pakistani people ARE the military. They are in touch with our identity, religious and cultural. Our military is the silent invisible hand which keeps our enemies at bay.

People's pessimism of British-educated and corrupt civilian governments has eroded confidence in all institutions except the military. Which functions like a machine, while everything else has collapsed from corruption and nepotism.

Our military leaders are active in all parts of the country, and come from all places of Pakistan. When the state collapses, like in natural disasters, the military steps in. When law and order breaks down due to political infighting, the military and security forces fix the mess.

US deep state runs US too. So I'm okay with Pak deep state running Pakistan too. They can put a puppet leader in the front to show that democracy is running. I know if god forbid something bad happens it's the army and establishment that will stand by Pakistan. Politicians will run off to their tax haven countries.

In 1947 we had a very poor constructed political infrastructure contrasted with a very well built military infrastructure. So as we moved through the decades the weak political system often relied on the military which gave the latter a opportunity to actually take over.

Was this good or bad? Yes and no. If Pakistan had a weak military infrastructure as well as undeveloped political culture the country would have fallen apart. So the fact that we had a strong military assured the survival of the state. On the other hand this has crippled the maturing of the political system.
