As long as China maintains its history of making crappy cars Tesla will dominate. However the cheap golf cart market segment for poor people in China is big and beyond reach.

China does not make crappy cars, as you well know. Consumer protection agencies haven't had to pinch BYD's, Nio's, or Xpeng's ears for shoddy workmanship.

Elon is going to have to make and sell quality cars to survive in China. It isn't America where he can just sell hype and laugh at anemic regulators.

Once Wall Street realizes Tesla will dominate autonomy, expect Tesla to go parabolic again. Tesla’s AI and software are improving at an exponential rate. Can’t wait for Version 9 release next month!

Yes Elon musk will definitely be the world richest person by a wide margin this coming decade. Not even counting Tesla or his space company Space X. He will still be leading huge company with lots of prospects like his energy business. This guy might be the world's first trillionaire, if there's one person with the potential to do it, it's him.
