During these days, messages/sms are circulating from unknown 3-or-4 digit numbers claiming that they are from the election commission and they can give you your ballot number if you tell them your NIC# (National Identity Card). Infact this is a fraud scheme and i have seen many people fall victim to it. Election Commission should take precautions and demand that the voter actually show their NIC, so the number can be tallied off, before they cast their vote. Otherwise, it wont be much of an election and we are better off staying home complaining than actually voting. An eye opener yes?
