QUETTA: Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) on Friday arrested eight suspected terrorists in a raid in Hoshab area of Balochistan, Geo News reported.

According to details, Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies arrested the terrorists after an exchange of fire, said an FC spokesperson.

The terrorists belong to a banned outfit, the spokesperson said.

Four RPG-7 rockets, five rifles, explosives, IEDs were recovered from the terrorists. 63 kg hashish, communication tools and other subversive material were also seized.

Earlier on Friday a local commander of the outlawed Jundullah Pakistan was killed in a shootout with security forces in Balochistan's Hub area, sources said.

Why did we arrest them . just kill them .
The alive militants are Always the top priority of the intelligence agencies. They are used to extract information of their network, funding, support teams and other critical information.
That is why even when militants attack the military and civilian targets, The commandos are instructed to do their best to catch them alive. Captain Roohullah Shaheed of SSG was martyred the same way when trying to control the sucide bomber in attack on Quetta Police academy.
