Does Boeing have a future in fighter plane market?

Boeing has not demonstrated the ability to make a plane with DSI or a plane with internal weapons bays.

Other than selling souped up F-15 like F-15SA and F-15QA to Arab monarchies, no one is buying their planes anymore. US air force, navy, marines is being dominated by F-35A air force version, F-35B marine version, F-35C aircraft carrier version. Even Malaysia ditched F-18E for Su-30MKM. It looks like even Canada is not going for F-18E to replace F-18.

Boeing has a very lucrative business of commercial airplanes and it is the market leader and the second leader Airbus is behind by a good distance in terms of market captured. So military aircraft not a priority for them like LM etc which only excels in the military A/C while failed so far to enter the commercial airplane market.

There's more competitors coming. Russia China.
